Zoe Saldaña leads a special forces unit in the thriller series, Special Ops: Lioness, which premiered on Paramount+ on Sunday (July 23).

Special Ops: Lioness follows Joe (Saldaña), a CIA operative whose boss (played by Nicole Kidman) pairs her with a young Marine (played by Laysla De Oliveira) for an anti-terrorism mission. The series, from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, is inspired by the Lioness program used by the U.S. Military.
The cast includes Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur and Hannah Love Lanie.
Sheridan, Saldaña, David C. Glasser, Kidman, Wagner, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone and John Hillcoat are executive producers.
