Spartanburg Little Theater announcing new season line-up of performances
The Spartanburg Little Theater is hosting their 10th annual, season reveal gala tonight at 6:30 p.m., hosted at the Chapman Cultural Center, 200 E. St. John Street, in Spartanburg.
During the remainder of the 2024 season, the theater is bringing "School of Rock" on May 3 through 12, and "Kinky Boots" on July 12 through 24.
"School of Rock" is about wanna-be rock star, Dewey Finn, who poses as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school and forms a rock band with his students to win a battle-of-the-bands competition.
"Kinky Boots" is about Charlie Price, inheriting his father’s shoe factory on the verge of bankruptcy and finding inspiration in the form of Lola, a fabulous drag entertainer. Tickets for both shows are available on their website.
Tonight's reveal features a Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame theme with a silent auction, season reveal, and an after party. Show off your best rock n' roll attire at the rocking event.
