Spank Horton, a comedian and member of Kevin Hart’s Plastic Cup Boyz crew, has shared a 2016 clip of Katt Williams apologizing to the Lift actor. This comes one week after Williams attacked Hart and several other comics during a viral appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

“So y’all don’t remember Katt did this b4 in 2016 then apologized? Thats why we don’t care to respond. It’s the same sh*t,” Horton tweeted along with a clip of Williams speaking to Big Tigger.

After apologizing to Tigger himself for an unnamed indiscretion, Williams went on, “I also owe a humongous apology to Kevin Hart…When I did a show at Philips [Arena] I kind of lost myself and I didn’t do my stand-up performance. I actually did an hour of talking to Atlanta ’cause I love Atlanta and made a lot of mistakes and said a lot of things that just be in Katt Williams’ head, but I was not talking to the world, I was talking to the city of Atlanta, and I should’ve never mentioned Kevin Hart’s name. That is the reigning king of comedy if you ask for popular consensus.”

Williams then recognized that he shouldn’t have attacked a fellow Black man at a time when the nation was already divided.

“The fact that I, while being on stage pretending to be higher than that, would then stoop down to the same level and try to embarrass KevinHart in front of his children and loved ones after all the hard work he’s done since the year 2002 is just regrettable on my part, so I humbly apologize to not only Kevin Hart but HartBeat Production, The Plastic Cup Boyz, and anybody associated with Kevin Hart.”

He went on to say it was a mistake on his part because he loves Torrei Hart, Kevin’s ex-wife, who recently announced she’ll be hitting the road with the Pimp Chronicles comic. He also added that while he regrets bad-mouthing Hart, “I didn’t make a total mistake, I meant to cut the snake, but I meant to cut the head of the snake.”

He then called Chris Rock a “coon” and promised to create a special titled Smaller And Brighter, a play on Rock’s 1999 special, Bigger And Blacker.

Ironically, Rock was one of the few Black comics to escape Williams’ wrath during his viral Q&A, which included “industry plant” Hart, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Tiffany Haddish, Chris Tucker, and more.
