“Southern Charm” alum Kathryn Dennis arrested and charged with DUI in South Carolina

The reality TV personality had "glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her," according to a police report obtained by PEOPLE.

Former Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis was arrested in South Carolina on Monday night and charged with driving under the influence.

The erstwhile Bravo personality, 32, was pulled over by the Goose Creek Police Department in Berkeley County just after 10 p.m. and issued a traffic ticket, according to a police report obtained by PEOPLE.

An officer at the scene reportedly told a colleague that Dennis was "possibly impaired" while conducting the traffic stop, with another officer noting in the police report that she had "glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her." She was then taken into custody and charged with a DUI for transporting an open container of alcohol.

A spokesperson for the Berkeley County Hill-Finklea Detention Center told Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday that Dennis had been released on bond.

EW has reached out to the Goose Creek Police Department and a representative for Dennis for comment.

Dennis is due in court June 4, according PEOPLE. TMZ first reported her arrest.

This isn't Dennis' first run-in with the law. In October, a vehicle registered in her name was involved in an alleged hit-and-run in South Carolina outside an elementary school, according to PEOPLE. The SUV hit a school resource officer who was directing traffic on Gaillard Road in front of Whitesville Elementary School and reportedly "did not stop at the scene of the collision."

Dennis first appeared on Southern Charm in 2014, making a guest appearance in season 1 before becoming a series regular. She exited the show after season 8.
