South Park Targets AI in Fifth Paramount+ Special Joining the Panderverse — Watch Trailer
The boys of South Park have undergone countless transformations over the years, from superheroes to animé warriors to World of Warcraft avatars. But trust us, you’ve never seen them quite like this before.
The franchise has set a date (Friday, Oct. 27) for its next Paramount+ exclusive special, South Park: Joining the Panderverse, in which “Cartman’s deeply disturbing dreams portend the end of the life he knows and loves,” per the official logline. Meanwhile, “the adults in South Park are also wrestling with their own life decisions as the advent of AI is turning their world upside down.”

Joining the Panderverse marks South Park’s fifth Paramount+ special, following 2022’s Post Covid and The Return of Covid, as well as 2023’s two-part Streaming Wars event. Per Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s $900 million deal with ViacomCBS, nine more specials will be produced exclusively for Paramount+.
As for South Park proper, the show’s six-episode 26th season aired on Comedy Central from February to March 2023. As part of Parker and Stone’s aforementioned deal, South Park has been renewed through Season 30.
