Sour Patch Kids Launches Singles Only Merch to Promote Self-Love Ahead of Valentine's Day

This year, you don’t have to have a significant other to enjoy Valentine’s Day — thanks to Sour Patch Kids!

The candy brand, known for being sour then sweet, has launched a Singles Only Registry Shop in hopes of promoting self-love.

The collection, which is exclusively available on Amazon, offers t-shirts that read “Take a number. But not Mine,” snug blankets — that come in colors red and grey — with the words “Wrapped up in me, myself and I,” written across them and tote bags that say “no baggage.”

The shop is also selling body pillows that read “My Main Squeeze.”

The prices of the collection range from $19.99 to $66.99.

The Singles Only shop is also in celebration of Singles Awareness Day, which Sour Patch Kids has dubbed as Singles Appreciation Day on Feb 15.

While Sour Patch Kids is spreading love, another candy brand is delivering bad news.

For the first time since they made their debut in 1866, the New England Confectionery Company (Necco) will not be selling Sweethearts Conversation Hearts this Valentine’s Day.

On the bright side, Spangler’s CEO says the hearts will be available again in 2020, already giving us something to look forward to next year.

Nonetheless, Sour Patch Kids debuted their own conversation hearts this year, and Brach’s version is still available in stores and online.
