In addition, WBD’s Max streamer has released never-before-seen deleted footage and expanded access to behind-the-scenes content within the new, in-app Sopranos 25th Anniversary collection for the show. The Sopranos: 25th Anniversary collection, launched Monday, includes 15 deleted scenes, three of which have never been released. The collection also includes more than five hours of behind-the-scenes featurette content. Every season of the series is currently available to stream on Max.

As part of the festivities, free episodes of “The Sopranos” will be available to sample through select cable partner’s on-demand platforms, and the first two episodes from Season 1 will also be accessible for free on Max’s YouTube channel.

And on Wednesday, Jan. 10 — 25 years to the day after “The Sopranos” first aired in 1999 — HBO is hosting a cast reunion and multiple fan experiences, including fan screenings at Alamo Drafthouse.

“’The Sopranos’ left an indelible imprint on the global entertainment culture and was instrumental in defining HBO as the destination for groundbreaking, award-winning programming,” said Zach Enterlin, executive VP of brand, content and creative of streaming marketing for HBO and Max. “The many ways we will honor this 25-year milestone will allow fans to celebrate the Soprano legacy and pay tribute to the characters that have had such an enduring impact.”

Max is reuniting the cast of “The Sopranos” for a private, invitation-only “family dinner” (at an undisclosed locations). The venue will be outfitted in Sopranos-themed decor, with series references throughout the venue and a curated menu inspired by the show.

On Jan. 10, fans in New York and Los Angeles can visit the official Satriale’s pop-up, bringing an authentic Sopranos-inspired Italian sandwich from Ggiata in L.A. and Regina’s in NYC, available exclusively through delivery app Postmates. From Jan. 11 through Feb. 4 at Da Nico, a noted Italian restaurant in New York City, guests can savor a special menu featuring “Sopranos”-inspired dishes, such as Carmela’s Baked Ziti and Satriale’s Special Caprese, for an authentic taste of the Soprano family’s world.

In addition, Max is partnering with Alamo Drafthouse to host “Family Reunion” fan screenings in New York and Los Angeles on Jan. 10 of the show’s pilot episode. Those will feature special guest appearances, including “Sopranos” actress Sharon Angela hosting the L.A. screening, alongside Sopranos-themed concessions, trivia sessions, photo opportunities and swag giveaways.

Max also is partnering with Robert Iler and Jamie-Lynn Sigler for a special 25th Anniversary edition of their podcast, “Not Today, Pal,” in which they reminisce about their roles as Meadow and AJ on “The Sopranos” and answer questions from fans. The full episode will be available on Jan. 18 via the HBO YouTube channel and major podcast platforms.

Finally, HBO Shop and “escapewear” apparel brand Tombolo are partnering to offer various special-edition products for the 25th anniversary. Select merchandise is now available with new items to be introduced throughout 2024.
