Sophie Turner is making the most of her time in New York City.

On Thursday, hours after her legal team filed a lawsuit in a Manhattan court against estranged husband Joe Jonas, the Game of Thrones alum, 27, stepped out, seemingly running errands around the city with daughter Willa, 3, in tow, as seen in photos obtained by TMZ.

Turner and Willa held hands as they walked around, with the actress clutching another bag that appeared to have poster board in it.

In addition to Willa, Turner and Jonas, 34, share a 14-month-old daughter, who was not pictured on the outing.

On Thursday, Turner filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of New York requesting that her two children with Jonas be returned to "their habitual residence" of England. Per documents obtained by PEOPLE, the actress' legal team is calling for the return of the children, who Turner alleged have been "wrongfully retained" beginning "on or about September 20, 2023."

Turner also claims Jonas is withholding their daughters’ passports to prevent her from returning to the U.K. with their children.

In the documents filed through the Hague Convention, an international treaty, Turner claims she and Jonas had agreed England would be their “forever home” after they sold their house in Miami in April. In recent months, the actress has been filming the miniseries Joan in England, while the couple’s daughters accompanied Jonas on tour.

Jonas, who filed for divorce from Turner on Sept. 5, responded to Turner's suit in a statement to PEOPLE later Thursday, saying when he and Turner met up in N.Y.C. last weekend, he believed the former couple had "reached an understanding that they would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup."

According to a rep for the musician, less than 24 hours after the terms were agreed upon, "Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK."

“This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending. When language like 'abduction' is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst. The children were not abducted," the statement added, in part.

The pair first linked up in 2016 after Jonas slid into Turner's DMs, and the pair began dating and were spotted together that same year at a Halloween party and then a Kings of Leon concert.

Three years later, Jonas and Turner tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony in May 2019 before saying "I do" again at a larger celebration in France the following month.
