Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner caused speculation over the weekend as they presented a united front amid divorce rumors. Jonas' wedding ring, which he seems to have on and off for unknown reasons, was noticed during a Jonas Brothers concert in Texas on Sunday.

According to reports, the "Cake by the Ocean" singer is preparing for divorce due to significant issues in his relationship with Turner. However, the 34-year-old singer made no mention of these problems during his performance at The Moody Center in Austin.

While Jonas sang with his brothers Nick, 30, and Kevin, 35, a fan claimed to have spotted Turner in the crowd, excitedly reporting on Instagram, "BREAKING UPDATE: not only is Joe wearing his ring tonight in AUSTIN BUT SOPHIE IS THERE I REPEAT SOPHIE IS IN THE BUILDING."

Jonas also performed the 2019 love song "Hesitate," which he reportedly wrote for Turner, indicating that things might not be over between the famous couple.

In a chat with Billboard, Jonas' younger brother, Nick, described the song as a "love letter" to Turner.

The Couple Are Allegedly Heading For Divorce

Despite the united front, sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that Jonas and Turner are headed for divorce. According to the insider, the "Do It Like That" singer has consulted with at least two divorce lawyers in the Los Angeles area and is close to filing divorce documents.

Per the outlet, the sources indicate that the couple has been grappling with "serious problems" for approximately six months and that for the last three months, Jonas has allegedly taken on the responsibility of caring for their two young children most of the time, even while his band was on tour, with both kids currently with him during their U.S. tour.

Although there haven't been apparent signs of trouble on the surface, Jonas has also been spotted without his wedding ring in recent weeks. Additionally, the couple recently sold their Miami mansion, which they had purchased just a year ago, making a decent profit on the sale.

Joe Jonas Reportedly Retained A Divorce Lawyer

According to People magazine, Jonas has retained a divorce lawyer, marking the possible end of his four-year marriage to Turner.

Turner and Jonas initially connected through Instagram DMs back in 2016. The “Game of Thrones” actress revealed in a Harper’s Bazaar UK interview that they had a “lot of mutual friends” who had been trying to introduce them for a while. "We were following each other on Instagram and he direct-messaged me one fine day, out of the blue,” she shared.

Following their Instagram connection, Jonas invited Turner to hang out while his tour was in the U.K. Her friends thought it would be amusing, so she agreed. They decided to meet at a bar, and as a safety precaution, Turner brought along her "rugby boys." To her surprise, Jonas arrived with a friend instead of security.

In 2017, Jonas popped the big question and proposed to Turner. The lovebirds later announced their engagement on Instagram and had two weddings, one in Las Vegas and a more elaborate one in the French countryside.

In 2020, the couple celebrated the arrival of their first child, a daughter named Willa. Then, in July 2022, they welcomed their second child.

In an interview with People last year, Jonas expressed his joy about being a father, stating, "It's been amazing to be a dad and to learn every day more about myself and what that's like.”

Turner also shared her enthusiasm for motherhood, telling Elle UK in June 2022, "It's what life is about for me—raising the next generation."
