Sophia Bush Debuts New Hand and Elbow Ink from Celebrity Tattoo Artist — See the Photos!

Sophia Bush is rocking some new ink!

The One Tree Hill alum, 41, is one of the latest celebrities to be tatted by Daniel Winter. The tattoo artist, also known as winterstone, shared a glimpse of Bush's new hand and elbow tattoos in a post on Instagram.

"Oh boy! What a fun afternoon with @sophiabush Getting some new art on her body! Go check it out simple and sweet!!! #tattoo #tattoed #girlswithtattoos" he shared in the caption.

Winter is best known for his minimalist fine-line style and has tattooed celebrities like Ashley Benson, Rita Ora, Kristin Cavallari, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend.

The tattooist gave Bush a hand tattoo that was positioned near the Chicago P.D. alum's thumb and index fingers and read "oh boy" in a black, cursive font. The second tattoo is of the words "in progress" written in capital letters just above her elbow.

Multiple fans noted the tattoos' simplistic style. "I love how elegant and simple these are. Psyched for my appointment with @winterstone," one social media user wrote. Another commented, "❤️This!!!."

Bush also showed her gratitude for Winter by leaving a message that read, "Luh you, boy! 😘🫶🏼."

This year has been full of changes for the actress. In August, PEOPLE exclusively confirmed that Bush filed for divorce from Grant Hughes after 13 months of marriage.

Bush and Hughes tied the knot in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in June 2022, nearly one year after getting engaged on Lake Como in Italy.

Following the news, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that “Sophia and Grant were friends for 10 years and bonded during COVID through their love of community service. They continue to run their nonprofit together and remain good friends.”

In legal documents obtained by PEOPLE, Hughes, 42, listed "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split and noted their date of separation as June 27.

Earlier this month, PEOPLE exclusively confirmed that Bush is spending time with professional soccer player Ashlyn Harris.

"After being friends for years, and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago,” a source from inside their social circle tells PEOPLE. “This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”

Hughes reacted to the news in a statement to PEOPLE from his rep that read, “Grant will always want the best for Sophia, and is supportive of all that makes her happy and fulfilled."
