Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 28 Recap & Spoilers: Kang Byul Creates More Chaos in Hahm Eun-Jung’s Life

Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri episode 28 aired on May 2, 2024. KBS1’s daily drama is slowly picking up the pace according to its storyline. The narrative of the drama follows Jin Soo-Ji’s (Hahm Eun-Jung) life and the family members surrounding her. On the other hand, there’s Chae Woo-Ri (Baek Sung-Hyun) who often gets blamed for being too nosy.

Soo-Ji is a celebrity psychiatrist with a traumatic past while Woo-Ri is a rookie doctor with a kind heart. Shin Yoon-Jung plays Han Hyun-Sung, Soo-Ji’s boyfriend for now and the new director of the Haedeul Hospital. Jin Na-Young who is the person behind every chaos in Dr. Jin’s life, is her step-sister.

Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri Episode 28: Hahm Eun-Jung gets a panic attack

Spoilers ahead. The episode begins with the press conference scene where Jin Na-Young (Kang Byul) makes an appearance. In front of the media, she says Jin Soo-Ji loses her calm and slaps her. But it is she who is to blame and not Dr. Jin. She plays the victim card and appoints her mother to stop Soo-Ji from entering the conference room. The media starts blaming Jin Soo-Ji and the internet stirs up with her news.

In the meantime, the research program that was supposed to begin in the hospital was cancelled. On the other hand, this whole situation gives Jin Soo-Ji a panic attack, and at the right moment, Woo-Ri enters her office. He helps her to calm her nerves when Hyun-Sung sees them being close.

Later, Han Hyun-Sung takes Soo-Ji to a rented place so that she can rest. Meanwhile, Na-Young comes to see Jin Soo-Ji’s condition and Woo-Ri finds her hiding. He warns her to be in limit which agitates Na-Young even more.

Cut to the next scene when Na-Young enters her house. She gets to hear an earful from her family members for the thing she did at the press conference. Her mother also warns that Karma will come to bite her a thousand times for what she did. But Na-Young seems to be quite indifferent to anything that is happening. This whole incident made her a celebrity overnight.
