Sons of Serendip headline 5th annual Christmas in Fall River concert: What you need to know

FALL RIVER — Get ready to enjoy an evening filled with music. The city’s annual Christmas concert returns this month, and it promises festive fun for all at B.M.C. Durfee High School.

Guests will be treated to performances by Sons of Serendip, The Khourys, and the B.M.C. Durfee Chorus.

Plus, as it is the season of giving, all ticket proceeds from this concert will go toward a local toy drive.

So be ready to get festive, and do a little something good while you’re at it.

When is the Christmas in Fall River concert?

The fifth annual Christmas in Fall River concert will be held on Friday, Dec. 22.

Where is the concert being held?

It will be held at the Nagle Auditorium at B.M.C. Durfee High School, 460 Elsbree St.

What time is the concert?

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Is the concert open to the public?

All community members are welcome.

Who will be featured at the concert?

Presented by the City of Fall River and sponsored by Bristol County Savings Bank, the Christmas in Fall River concert has a line-up that is sure to please.

A performance by The Khourys and the B.M.C Durfee Chorus will open the show.

The concert features “America’s Got Talent” finalists and classical crossover quartet Sons of Serendip.

“This tremendous concert is always a good time and allows the community to come together to celebrate the holiday season,” Mayor Paul Coogan said in a press release.

“The bank is proud to have partnered once again with Mayor Coogan and the City of Fall River to bring this much anticipated holiday concert to our community,” President & CEO of Bristol County Savings Bank Patrick Murray said in the release. “The event is going to benefit a great cause and is sure to get everyone into the Christmas spirit, so we hope to see you there on December 22!”

Concert proceeds to benefit Community Christmas Toy Drive
