Song Premiere: X Japan Debuts ‘Without You’ From Documentary Soundtrack
The most successful rock band in Japanese history is X Japan — a musical force that’s sold more than 30 million albums, singles, and videos combined; sold out Japan’s 55,000-seat Tokyo Dome a record 18 times; and pioneered a spectacle-driven style of rock music called Visual Kei, a one-of-a-kind cultural phenomenon.
In late 2016, We Are X, a compelling documentary chronicling the band’s history — centered from the viewpoint of creative leader Yoshiki — was released to theaters across America after winning multiple awards at the Sundance and SXSW Film Festivals. The soundtrack to the film contains X Japan’s first new song in years, “Without You.” Yahoo Music is excited to debut this track for fans to enjoy.
