Song Premiere: Hear Guitar Goddess Orianthi Shred on 'Transmogrify'

Although rock history certainly has its share of male guitar gods, the instrument is by no means the sole domain of the dudes. This is aptly proven with the upcoming release of She Rocks, Vol. 1, a collection devoted to putting the spotlight on women who know their way around a fretboard.

The set is produced by author and former Guitar World editor Brad Tolinski with iconic guitarist Steve Vai as executive producer, and showcases 11 female guitarists, including Orianthi, Lita Ford, Sarah Longfield, and more.

Yahoo Music is excited to premiere the opening track, “Transmogrify,” delivered by guitar goddess Orianthi, who has famously performed with such stars as Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Richie Sambora, and Carrie Underwood; as well as released several of her own solo albums.
