Song Kang’s My Demon New Trailer: Kim Yoo-Jung Hires a Demon Bodyguard

SBS released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming romance K-drama My Demon, starring Song Kang and Kim Yoo-Jung. The drama will premiere on November 24, 2023, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. It follows the story of chaebol heiress Do Do-Hee and demon Jung Gu-Won. The latter loses his powers after getting into a contractual marriage with her.

Kim Yoo-Jung will essay the role of Do Do-Hee, the daughter of Mirae Group. Meanwhile, Song Kang will play Jung Gu-Won, a charming demon who makes dangerous deals with humans and holds their souls as collateral. In the newly released trailer, Do-Hee employs Gu-Won as her bodyguard, albeit with a few conditions for him.

The trailer of My Demon shows many fun and dramatic interactions between Jung Gu-Won and Do Do-Hee after the latter hires him as a bodyguard. The scenes begin with Gu-Won reading the rules set by Do-Hee before employing him as his bodyguard. Although the demon does his job well by protecting her at all times, he can’t seem to stop gazing at her in awe.

The primary rule set by Do-Hee is only to look after her, and Gu-Won obediently follows the rule by constantly setting his eyes on her. Do-Hee then demands that Gu-Won doesn’t move too far away from her. The demon, however, chooses to spend every second with her, even accompanying Do-Hee to the bathroom.

Gu-Won is proud of the way he handles his job and calls it “a piece of cake.” Following this, trailer proceeds to tense scenes, giving viewers a sneak peek into Gu-Won’s past. It reveals that the demon has been single for almost 200 years because of the boundaries he created himself. In another scene, Do-Hee sees Gu-Won attacked by a group of men.

However, in the final scene, Gu-Won talks about the final rule of not falling in love with Do-Hee. As he gazes into her eyes, he mutters, “This is difficult,” indicating an iconic love story in the making.

My Demon K-drama release date, cast, episodes & more

My Demon is all set to be released on Friday, November 24, 2023, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. The K-drama will span for 16 episodes, with new episodes releasing every Friday and Saturday. The series will also be available to stream on Netflix.

The cast of My Demon includes Song Kang as Jung Gu-Won, Kim Yoo-Jung as Do Do-Hee, Lee Sang-Yi as Joo Seok-Hoon, Kim Hae-Sook as Joo Cheon-Sook, Kim Tae-Hoon as Noh Seok-Min, and Lee Yoon-Ji as Noh Soo-An. Kim Jang-Han serves as the director of the series.
