ANDY GIBB (SINGING): First a boy and then a man, am I. And you--

- Andy Gibb guest starred on "Punky Brewster" twice--

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: Yes!

- --what do you guys remember about working with him on set, and how did you feel when he sang to you?

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: Oh, I-- OK, first of all, I love you. You're, like, my bestie for asking that, because we-- we talk about this a lot.

CHERIE JOHNSON: We loved him.

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: So we were so in love with him. I still love him so much. The other day we were talking about all of these amazing elements that we remember, and I said, I can still smell his skin. And Cherie's like, well, that's going a little--

CHERIE JOHNSON: That's a little deeper than I--

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: I can, I can remember so many amazing parts of him. One of the things that stands out most to me is that he was so kind--

CHERIE JOHNSON: Yes.

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: --and loving. And to be kids on a set and to have someone come in and give you that kind of love and show you that kind of love and respect, he was, he just emanated love. And I carry that with me for all these years.

And when we wrapped, one of the most special moments of my life still, that I remember, is he had worn the sequins jacket in the (SINGING) thank heavens for little-- you know, the episode where he was singing that. And he sat me down and he wrapped the sequined black jacket, and he wrapped it around me and it was just so beautiful. He was just so kind, and that has always--

CHERIE JOHNSON: He was incredible.

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: --stuck with me. The kindness of what you create and how you interact with people, you know, it does leave a lasting effect. And I think it's just a testament to who he was.

- Newly single, professional photographer. Used to be fun.

- I'm still fun.

- Here comes the dance.

- Can't stop! We won't stop!

- "Punky Brewster" was dealing with real topics. This is for both of you. How is the show going to address the deaths of Henry and Mrs. Johnson?

CHERIE JOHNSON: Oh. You know, we definitely feel their spirits every day, and it's not something that they've shied away from. We definitely will talk about Henry and Miss Johnson. I don't think we should give it away, I think you should have to watch and see, but we do pay homage.

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: The writers have.

CHERIE JOHNSON: Yeah.

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: Their, their heart is definitely in the essence of the show. And I have to say, I feel George and Susie around all the time. And something so beautiful that happened was last week I was given this gift by Oli, who plays one of my sons, and it was a journal with my initials on it.

And I always have loved writing, and one of the first journals I got was from George-- and I'll get super emotional and start crying. But it was so beautiful, because he had given me this beautiful journal when I was about eight years old. And here Oli, not knowing, all of these years later, gave me the same colored journal, both with my initials. And that's when you go, oh, the angels are watching over us. And so I genuinely feel George and Susie around.

CHERIE JOHNSON: Absolutely.

SOLEIL MOON FRYE: And we, we feel them every day that we come to work, and their blessings around us.

CHERIE JOHNSON: And they're part of every script.
