Sofia Vergara Walks Off ‘America’s Got Talent’ After Howie Mandel Jokes About Her Single Status

Sofia Vergara seems to have heard one joke too many about her newly single status. The “America’s Got Talent” judge was ready to walk off stage on Wednesday’s episode after co-star Howie Mandel made another crack about her dating life. Sofia was a reluctant participant in the show’s “Tot Seat” segment, where she sat on a throne made of tater tots – yes, really – and took a lie detector test. The “Modern Family” alum was passing with flying colors but when Howie stepped in to ask a personal question, Sofia indicated that she’d had enough. Though the bit was likely all in good fun, it’s not the first time Howie has openly referenced Sofia’s recent relationship change. In August, he playfully called her out after a ventriloquist act on the show needed an eligible participant looking for love, and Sofia was not only unfazed but also seemed to agree that she would have been the right choice for the role! “America’s Got Talent” airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
