Where is Phil’s telepresence robot when you need it?

The cast of Modern Family reunited, and it feels so good.

The Dunphy-Pritchett-Tucker clan has stayed close even without the cameras rolling — just check out their social media. And now, Sofia Vergara proved as much by uploading various pictures of the sitcom cast together again for what she called the “first Modern Family reunion.”

But eagle-eyed fans will note that the family portrait isn’t quite complete: It seems Phil Dunphy actor Ty Burrell was unable to make the festive occasion. The family's solution? Honoring him with a framed photo of Phil wearing his headphones.

The gang not only held the framed pic in the cast reunion photo — which also features series creators Christopher Lloyd and Steve Levitan — but also shared a video of them lamenting Burrell's absence by raising a toast to the photo on the mantle. If only Phil Dunphy’s telepresence robot were real.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who spent 11 seasons playing Mitchell Pritchett, shared additional photos to Instagram, including pics of each individual family faction back together. One image in his carousel shows the whole Dunphy clan, sans Burrell — including Julie Bowen (Claire), Sarah Hyland (Haley), Ariel Winter (Alex), Nolan Gould (Luke).

The next features the OG Pritchetts — Vergara (Gloria), Ed O'Neill (Jay), and Rico Rodriguez (Manny), though a later addition to the family, Jeremy Maguire (who played toddler Joe), was missing.

Another photo depicts Ferguson with his MF daughter, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Lily), and his husband, Eric Stonestreet (Cam).

"Nearly perfect @modernfamily reunion," Ferguson captioned the slideshow.

Created and produced by Levitan and Lloyd, Modern Family began in 2009 and followed the lives of three diverse families living in suburban Los Angeles. They soon became some of TV’s favorite characters, with the long-running ABC sitcom earning 22 Emmys, including five for Outstanding Comedy Series. The entire cast has remained close since the show ended in 2020, with Ferguson and Vergara often posting updates via mini-family reunions.
