Sofia Vergara Says Her Wedding to Joe Manganiello Was a 'Fairy Tale'
All Sofia Vergara needs now is to live happily ever after with Joe Manganiello because she already had her fairy-tale wedding.

The Modern Family star, who married the Magic Mike XXL hunk on Nov. 22, spoke out about her over-the-top nuptials for the first time in an interview that airs on Thursday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show. She said the event, which took place at The Breakers Palm Beach resort in Florida and drew stars from Reese Witherspoon to Pitbull, who performed at the reception, was a big ole party.

After joking about Ellen not being able to make the destination wedding because she had to tape her show — and Sofia saying she gave away her gift bag “to someone else in my house” — the Colombian beauty spilled a few new details, including how there were about 400 guests and they all partied until dawn.
“It was my family and closest friends,” Vergara said with a wink. That of course included her adult son, Manolo, from her first marriage.
“Aye, my Manolo,” she said upon seeing a photo of him. “He was very excited to give me away.

Despite it being far from home, Sofia’s team, which included event planner Mindy Weiss and famed New York cake designer Sylvia Weinstock, helped her pull off a perfect event. "It was like a dream, like a fairy tale,” Vergara said. “Like it came out perfectly like how I wanted. I have to say, the people that worked helping me do the wedding, amazing!”
Sofia said that the reception, which included a lot of dancing, lasted until “like 6 in the morning,” she said, explaining, “We had like a party and then we had an afterparty.”

Ellen asked if everyone was drunk to which Sofia replied, “No, not everybody.” (Manganiello doesn’t drink.) She joked that all her Modern Family co-stars “were tipsy… They had a great time I think.”

She summed it up by saying, “We had a great time. A lot of food a lot of flowers. A lot of like nice people. You missed a very good party."
Luckily there were loads of photos from the event — and the honeymoon. After tying the knot, the couple spent a week in Turks and Caicos for the honeymoon.
