Sofía Vergara's Low-Key Romance With Justin Saliman Was on Display in the Sweetest Way

After Sofía Vergara’s very public marriage to Joe Manganiello, she seems to be keeping her love life slightly below the radar after their divorce. The 51-year-old star has been dating orthopedic surgeon Dr. Justin Saliman since October 2023, and their love has been fairly low-key ever since.
The Modern Family star doesn’t talk too much about him in public, but he made a sweet appearance in her Mother’s Day Instagram carousel to indicate he’s a pretty big part of her life. She celebrated the holiday at the home of famed Beverly Hills brow guru, Anastasia Soare, along with her 32-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara. But if you scroll a few snapshots in, it’s very clear that Saliman was also a part of the festivities. He stood in a group shot next to Manolo and made a second appearance while deep in discussion with Vergara.

They appeared to be deep in conversation about the knee she just had surgery on — it helps to be dating an orthopedic surgeon in times like this. She bragged about Saliman’s care on her Instagram Story in April just after the operation. “If u ever get a [major] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night… ! Luv u,” she shared with an image of her bandaged knee and a sharp-looking photo of Saliman.
The doctor seems to fit right into Vergara’s checklist of who she would like to date. She joked about the men available in New York on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon — which felt like a dig at her ex-husband. “So, in New York, there’s not only like actors or directors, I think…I’m going to spend more time in New York,” she quipped. “There’s great food for when you go out on dates. It’s better, yes.” Saliman is a West Coast doctor, but he certainly fits the bill otherwise for the America’s Got Talent judge.
Sources are saying that Saliman hit a home run on their first date. “Justin impressed her right off the bat by showing up to their first date with flowers and her favorite champagne,” an insider shared with OK! Magazine. “Justin hasn’t just charmed Sofía — he’s met a bunch of her family and friends, and they’ve all given him the thumbs up. Sofía seems very happy.” With that stamp of approval, it’s no wonder he’s getting major real estate on her Instagram profile — Vergara’s dating life is on the perfect track.
