Social media SOS: Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer say their dogs are being quarantined in London

Anna Paquin and her husband, Stephen Moyer, are sharing adorable photos of their pups Banjo and Dave, but not just for the fun of it.

The two have spoken out on social media because, as Moyer said in the first post, their dogs are being held “at customs in London,” supposedly at the city’s Heathrow Airport.

The former True Blood stars, who married in 2010, share 5-year-old twins Charlie and Poppy, as well as their dogs. And they love their dogs, so much so that they take them everywhere, as noted in a September 2017 story in the Telegraph. “This morning I was up early to let the dogs out,” Moyer said. The newspaper noted, “The couple have two [dogs] that travel everywhere with them — Dave, a black Labrador cross, and Banjo, a Louisiana Leopard Dog.”

Back on social media, Moyer and Paquin both shared several more messages about their current plight.

Fans helped them spread the word.

The Heathrow website links to the official United Kingdom government website, which outlines a few basic requirements for bringing a dog into the U.K., including having it vaccinated against rabies, having it microchipped, having a pet passport for it, and, usually, showing that the dog has had a tapeworm treatment.

Although the couple did seem upset, Paquin assured fans that the incident would not turn into a situation like the one Johnny Depp and Amber Heard faced in 2015.

Depp and Heard faced legal trouble after they failed to declare their two dogs when they entered Australia. They ended up apologizing (albeit not very enthusiastically on Depp’s part), and Heard eventually pleaded guilty in an Australian court to knowingly falsifying documents. The two charges of bringing their dogs, Pistol and Boo, into the country illegally on a private flight were dropped.
