Social media reacts to the Oklahoma Sooners loss to Kansas State

At this point, it’s hard to argue that Kansas State and coach Chris Kleiman don’t have Oklahoma’s number after the Wildcats’ 41-34 win over the No. 6-ranked Sooners.

Kansas State has won three of the last four matchups and has a winning record at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium over the last decade.

It was a frustrating and disappointing performance from the Oklahoma Sooners at home against a team that was coming off of a loss to Tulane the week prior. Oklahoma Sooners head coach Brent Venables didn’t mince words when discussing the outing from his team on Saturday night.

“We just weren’t as efficient as we needed to be on offense, the most critical times, the most critical times on defense, we were at our worst, for whatever reason,” Venables said after the game.

Adrian Martinez played a great game, but the Sooners didn’t do themselves any favors with their inability to tackle at times or their lack of pass rush. And when the Sooners needed a stop, they came up short toward the end of the game.

Here’s how social media reacted to the Sooners’ 41-34 loss to Kansas State.

They had a chance and couldn't capitalize

Big 12, and K-State has been a thorn in the Sooners side

A frustrating Saturday night

Shot themselves in the foot

Defies logic

Cheesecake for me

It only hurts because we care so much

They weren't

Just looked different

A truly incredible performance

One day we won't see Kansas State anymore

Pre-snap penalties were a killer

Where's the Kryptonite when you need it

Hard to argue otherwise

On the 55-yard game-sealing run

From the Jump, the Wildcats were more physical

What a time to be alive

Wildcats were more physical

On this night, it wasn't fixed

I mean...

Red River looks a lot different

Glaring Holes

Nothing makes sense anymore

Oklahoma offense couldn't sustain drives

When's that Nebraska offer coming?

Adrian Martinez had a day
