Social Distortion have a busy 2024 ahead, with frontman Mike Ness and company announcing the rescheduled dates for the legendary punk band’s previously postponed North American tour with support from The Bellrays.
The Fall 2024 outing will follow Social D’s recently announced co-headlining Spring 2024 US run with Bad Religion, The shows with the Bellrays will kick off September 13th in Seattle and running through October 22nd in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The tour with The Bellrays was originally set to take place this past summer, but was postponed when Ness revealed that he had been diagnosed with tonsil cancer in June. Ness alluded to his improved health in a Facebook post regarding the upcoming tour: “Words can’t describe how happy I am to be back onstage doing what I love.”
Before that, Ness offered a positive health update on Instagram about a month ago.
“I finished 6 weeks of chemo and radiation last week and now can solely focus on rehabilitation to get strength back in my voice and all the muscles in throat and neck that have been disrupted from surgery etc,” he wrote at the time. “I am keeping my eyes on the prize to be back in studio to finish album and back onstage sooner than later.”

While Social Distortion will be playing their 1983 debut album Mommy’s Little Monster in full during their co-headlining run with Bad Religion, it is unclear if they will do the same on their fall outing.
