Snowcat Ridge delays 2023 season opening. Here's the new date when the Florida snow fun starts
Snowcat Ridge, Florida's only "alpine snow park," announced it will delay its season opening.
Originally scheduled for Nov. 17, the park won't open until Dec. 3.
Snowcat Ridge is Florida's only snow park, offering a one-of-a-kind experience in the Sunshine State," said Chief Marketing Officer Jon Pianki.
"The park features a 60-foot-tall and 400-foot-long snow tubing hill, a 16,000-square-foot ice skating ribbon, an igloo filled with real snow and more. The park truly brings the holiday spirit to locals and Florida visitors."
Why did Snowcat Ridge delay its opening for the 2023 season?
"After working extensively to prepare for its original planned opening date, Snowcat Ridge has chosen to move its opening day to Dec. 3 due to supply chain delays which have prevented the completion of its new $1 million upgraded restroom facilities," the park announced in an email.
The new restroom facilities will feature a pair of new family restrooms and increased capacity.

Can you get a refund if you purchased early Snowcat Ridge tickets?
Guests who pre-purchased Snowcat Ridge tickets for dates before Dec. 3, 2023, will receive a full refund.
