The snow-filled Wyoming-Colorado State game was glorious (Video)
We got our first snow game of the year Saturday night in Laramie, Wyoming, and it was a beautiful sight.
Wyoming hosted rival Colorado State in the the annual Border War and there were a few flurries here and there in the first half. But in the second half, the skies opened up and brought heavy snow showers.
It made for some messy football, but it also made for a picturesque scene on the field at War Memorial Stadium.

This game’s rivalry trophy is the Bronze Boot. It was in frigid conditions for the second half, but definitely warmed up when the home team got to celebrate with it after a come-from-behind, 16-13 win.
The Cowboys trailed for almost the entire game but took the lead with 4:21 to go on a three-yard touchdown run by Kellen Overstreet.

From there, the Wyoming defense held strong to clinch the team’s sixth win of the year.
What other way was there to celebrate bowl eligibility than with snow angels?
After a 1-2 start, the Cowboys have won five of their last six games and are now in second place in the Mountain West’s Mountain Division behind Boise State.
