Snoop Dogg’s change of heart in regards to Donald Trump continues, as the rap legend recently voiced “nothing but love and respect” for the former U.S. President and 2024 Presidential candidate.

In an interview with The Sunday Times of London, the 52-year-old expressed his fondness of Trump. “He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop said of the polarizing politician. “He has done only great things for me.”

Snoop also admitted that his glowing words about Trump were influenced by him granting convicted drug kingpin and Death Row Records financier Michael “Harry-O” Harris a release from prison in January 2021, prior to ending his Presidential term.

“I love what they did,” Snoop Dogg told the New York Post following Harris’ release. “That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out.”

He recently echoed those thoughts to The Sunday Times of London. “He pardoned Michael Harris,” the current Death Row Records owner said. “So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

The hitmaker’s current sentiments regarding Trump are in stark contrast to past statements he had made during the real estate tycoon’s initial Presidential bid and in the aftermath of his eventual victory.

Following Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton, Snoop told his followers on social media that he was planning to move to Canada due to his disdain for Trump’s politics, a promise he ultimately went back on.

The rapper has also ridiculed Trump as part of his musical rollouts, casting a clown named Ronald Klump in the video for Snoop and BADBADNOTGOOD’s 2017 single “Lavender (Nightfall Remix)” and including a “Trump” corpse on the artwork to his 2017 EP Make America Crip Again.
