While you're gearing up for 4/20 Day on Saturday, why not take a moment to celebrate our newest holiday on April 19: Dr. Bombay Day!

OK, it's not an official holiday and you won't get a day off. But award-winning rap icon and entrepreneur Snoop Dogg is launching the first new flavor of 2024 in his Dr. Bombay Ice Cream line on Friday, "Strawberry Cream Dream," and he has declared April 19 as a new national holiday for people to stock up on snacks before the global cannabis celebration.

"I love my munchies, especially my Dr. Bombay Ice Cream. I am declaring 4/19 Dr. Bombay Day," Snoop Dogg said in a release. "Be sure to hit the store and tell them Dogg sent you."

Grocery stores will be offering special promotions, the release said, including 4 for $20 deals at stores and an additional 2 for $10 deal at Publix.
