Ben Marshall, John Higgins and Martin Herlihy, the “Saturday Night Live” trio better known as Please Don’t Destroy, have released the first trailer for their upcoming movie, “Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain,” out Nov. 17 on Peacock.

The film, produced by Judd Apatow, follows the three friends as they search for a fabled treasure. Here’s the official logline: “John Goodman narrates the adventure of Ben, Martin and John, three childhood friends turned deadbeat co-workers, who fend off hairless bears, desperate park rangers (played by Meg Stalter and X Mayo) and a hypocritical cult leader (Bowen Yang) in the hopes of finding a priceless treasure, only to discover that finding the treasure is the easiest part of their journey. Oh, and Conan O’Brien plays Ben’s dad in it.”

The feature was written by the trio and is directed by “SNL” alum Paul Briganti. After creating hit TikTok and YouTube videos, Marshall, Higgins and Herlihy were hired as writers on the 47th season of “SNL” in 2021. Continuing in the tradition of The Lonely Island, the trio is known for their absurdist digital shorts, which often feature “SNL” hosts and special guests, such as “Three Sad Virgins” with Taylor Swift and Pete Davidson, “Rami Wants a Treat” with Rami Malek and “Good Variant” with Paul Rudd, John Mulaney and Al Roker.

While the Please Don’t Destroy movie was originally set to premiere in theaters on Aug. 18, NBCUniversal announced in May that the film will instead premiere exclusively on Peacock on Nov. 17.

In addition to writing and starring in the film, Marshall, Higgins and Herlihy serve as executive producers alongside Josh Church, M. Riley, Sam Hansen and Michael Sledd.
