‘SNL': Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller Do ‘Meet the Parents’ as Robert Mueller and Trump’s Lawyer (Video)
Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller made a surprise appearance in the politically-charged cold open of “SNL,” playing Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Donald Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, respectively.
Stiller’s Cohen found himself taking a lie detector test, administered by De Niro’s Mueller, and the pair rehashed a similar scene from their hit comedy “Meet the Parents.”
But first, Stiller’sCohen interrupted a meeting between Attorney General Jeff Sessions, played by Kate McKinnon, and Vice President Mike Pence, played by Beck Bennett. The pair lamented the tough week the Trump administration was having, with Sessions in particular expecting to get raided by Mueller at any moment.
The FBI this week raided offices belonging to Cohen, who paid off Stormy Daniels as part of a non-disclosure agreement, and also negotiated a 1.6 million settlement between a major Republican donor and his mistress.

“We’re in a real pickle here, Jeff,” Bennett’s Pence said. “And you know how uncomfortable I am around pickles.”
A moment later, Stiller appeared as Cohen.
“Can you believe what they’re doing to poor Mr. Trump?” Cohen asked Sessions and Pence. “It’s a disgrace! This whole raid was a complete violation of attorney-criminal privilege.”
“Well, if you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about,” McKinnon’s Sessions replied.

“Is that a joke?” Cohen demanded. “We got a real problem here, Jeff. You know how much evidence I have in my office? I’m Donald Trump’s lawyer! I got a whole hard drive that’s just labeled ‘Yikes.'”
Sessions and Pence told Cohen they’d asked him there to meet someone else. When Cohen went down the hall, he discovered who was waiting for him: De Niro playing Robert Mueller. As Cohen came into the room, he realized that Mueller was setting him up for a lie detector test — just like in “Meet the Parents.”
“Just relax, Mr. Cohen,” De Niro’s Mueller said. “If you’re innocent, you have nothing to worry about. I’ll start with some easy ones. how’d you like that pee-pee tape?”

Mueller continued with a few softball questions, and then established that Cohen paid $130,000 to Daniels. When Mueller asked if Trump knew about the NDA, Cohen said Trump didn’t — causing the lie detector to go a little crazy.
At one point, Stiller’s Cohen noted Mueller was trying to “milk people for information.”
“Milk?” Mueller asked.
“Yeah, you know, like a goat or a cow … or a cat,” Cohen replied, referencing a joke from “Meet the Parents.” “You know, you can milk anything with nipples.”
“I’ve got nipples, Mr. Cohen,” Mueller replied, completing the bit from the movie. “Can you milk me?”
