Renée Rapp’s second Saturday Night Live musical performance of the night was full of surprises.

Audiences finally got to see the original Regina George anoint the new guard when Rachel McAdams introduced the singer, who played Regina on Broadway and reprised the role in Paramount’s new musical film.

Rapp sang “Not My Fault,” a song she collaborated with Megan Thee Stallion on for the film’s soundtrack. So, naturally, Meg had to make an appearance as well.

Rapp made her SNL musical guest debut this weekend. Megan Thee Stallion previously pulled double duty as both host and musical guest in October 2022.

McAdams, who has surprisingly never hosted SNL, also stuck around for a skit with host Jacob Elordi. In the skit, Adams played an aspiring actor who looks a lot like beloved actress Rachel McAdams. Elordi plays a very famous and pretentious actor imparting some words of wisdom on the group.

At the end of the show, Rapp and McAdams could be seen blowing each other kisses and singing each other’s praises from afar as Elordi closed out the show.
