New Talent Headed To 'SNL'

Fans of Saturday Night Live were disappointed to learn that Leslie Jones would not be returning for season 45. While the raucous comedian would be missed, she is moving on to big things, including feature films and a Netflix special. Alec Baldwin and his Trump impersonation will also bow out for the new season.

However, SNL is filling the gap and bringing on fresh meat to the cast, hiring three new cast members before the upcoming season.

Their Comedy Backgrounds

The three new Not Ready for Prime Time Players are Chloe Fineman, Shane Gillis and Bowen Yang. Fineman and Gillis are well known at the Just for Laughs Festival and Yang was a writer on SNL for season 44.

Season 45's Line Up

Season 45 is shaping up to be an exciting season on top of the new comics, with Woody Harrelson, Fleabag's Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Stranger Things' David Harbour, Kristen Stewart, and Eddie Murphy signing on as the first five announced hosts. Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and Camilla Cabello will also be filling in as musical guests.
