Smokey Robinson has a lot of love for Taylor Swift!

The music legend, 83, appeared on Wednesday's episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, revealing to host Hudson that he's known Swift for many years and even took his granddaughter to see her show.

“She’s a Swiftie, or whatever you call them, she’s one of those,” Robinson added. Hudson then asked, “Are you a Swiftie?”

“Well, I love Taylor. She’s a really nice person and with all the fame and stuff like that,” Robinson - who released his first studio album in nine years, GASMS, earlier this year — said. “But anyway she’s a great person and I’ve known her for a long time and my granddaughter is a Swiftie.”

He also explained that his granddaughter had told him Swift was performing in Pittsburgh so Robinson called the “Anti-Hero” star to ask if she could meet her.

“Pittsburgh was shut down,” the soul singer said of the night of Swift’s show. “It was like a president was in town or something.”

“Taylor performed for three hours and 25 minutes, [my granddaughter and her friend] didn’t sit down for one time,” the star continued. “And they knew every song and they screamed for, like, three hours.”

The "Tracks of My Tears" star then joked that the pair couldn't talk the next day due to their screaming. Hudson went on to describe Robinson as the "Taylor Swift" of his time, to which he laughed and blew kisses before telling the host, “That’s so sweet.”

Since March 17, Swift has been performing her sell-out Eras Tour. The shows, which finish in November 2024, have been attended by numerous celebrities including Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid and  Shawn Mendes.

Swift’s Eras concert film also reached a milestone over the weekend by crossing $200 million of sales at the global box office.
