We've been seeing a lot of Will Smith lately. First, the 52-year-old movie star shared a photo of himself showing off his quarantine weight gain this week. Plenty of his fans and fellow celebrities chimed in to validate the way Smith looks right now, and a lot of men even started inundating the actor with photos of their own "dad bods" in solidarity.

Smith then followed it up with another post which revealed that he is about to embark on a weight loss journey—and will be documenting his progress in a new YouTube series. After declaring that he likes his body just the way it is, saying "this is the body that carried me through the pandemic," Smith clarified that he wants to feel fitter and healthier, and announced his intention to get into the best shape of his life.

And now he's just shared another update on Instagram. In a photo credited to Aidan Tanner, who also shot the "dad bod" pic that ended up going viral this week, Smith commemorates his first day back in the gym, and the first workout of many in his impending muscle transformation.

"Back to square one. Lookin like a circle," he wrote. "Let's get it!!"

Getting action movie-level ripped after the age 50 isn't without its difficulties, but Smith has demonstrated time and time again that he's not afraid to put in the work—and keep the right mindset while he's doing it.
