Will Smith And Martin Lawrence Reunite In The Trailer For 'Bad Boys For Life'

Bad Boys Are Gonna Do Somethin'

We've got our first look at the trailer for Bad Boys For Life, which is set to the be the third and last movie in the Bad Boys franchise.

Martin and Will Back At It

The movie stars Will Smith as Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence as Marcus Burnett. The two are with the Miami PD, but this time, Marcus is a police detective, while Mike is having some internal struggles in the form of a mid-life crisis.

The two are ready to pack it in for good, but things get complicated when a bad guy promises them big bucks in a revenge scheme.

Just as they're about to get out, they're pulled back in.

This Film Was Lousy With Production Issues

The film has been floating around production/development hell for the past several years. It was originally going to be called Bad Boys III (who would have thought?) and was to be directed by Michael Bay, who directed the first two Bad Boys films.

But the movie continued to be pushed back, and one of the screenplay writers, Joe Carnahan, eventually left the film.Michael Bay left the scene as well, with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fillah taking over as directors.

Joe Pantoliano Is Here To Make It All Better

With all that background noise, the trailer looks and feels like a Bad Boys movie, but with just a hint of a "hey aren't these guys getting kind of old for this?" feel. Maybe you'll feel differently. After all, Joe Pantoliano is back, reprising his role as Capt. Howard, and we all love Joe Pantoliano.
