Will Smith is proud of wife Jada Pinkett Smith's latest accomplishment.

The Girls Trip actress's new book Worthy made it onto the New York Times bestsellers list, debuting at No. 4 on the chart for nonfiction books, combined print and e-book sales.

"Thank you to the RTT family, the Worthy Warriors and to all who wanted to know my story beyond headlines," Jada, 52, wrote on Instagram alongside a video message.

In the clip, Jada gives shout-outs to three other women authors who make up the top five, including Rachel Maddow (Prequel), Cassidy Hutchinson (Enough) and Dolly Parton (Behind the Seams).

"I was sitting here thinking that there was a time where women actually had to take on the names of men in order to be published, and here we have four women at the top of the bestsellers list," she said, adding, "... I'm deeply grateful."

Will, 55, wrote in the comment section: "'New York Times Best Selling Author, Jada Pinkett Smith' CONGRATS, MAMA! Big Looks."

When Jada was a guest on a recent episode of On Purpose with Jay Shetty, the host read to her a letter written by Will, in which he reacted to reading her new book.

"I just turned the final page of Worthy," wrote Will, who married Jada in 1997. "It is amazing to realize that despite having lived most of my life by your side, I still found myself shocked and stunned and caught off guard, laughing, then inspired, then heartbroken. I was all over the place."

He continued, "It's one thing to hear anecdotes at a family barbecue, but it was truly overwhelming to take in your story, potently condensed in this way."

Will, whose own memoir Will was published in 2021, added that Jada is "one of one, a rare blend of power and delicate sensitivity."

"I know it wasn't easy to excavate the depths in that way. I applaud and honor you," he wrote in the letter. "If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would have hugged you more. I'll start now. Welcome to the Authors Club. I love you endlessly. Now go get some Merlot and take a rest."

When Jada announced her book back in June, she wrote on Instagram that "many think they already know" her journey that she reveals in Worthy.

"The fact that I have, in the last four years contributed to the creation and perpetuation of falsehoods about myself, in which other untrue narratives were birthed, has surely aided in the misunderstandings that surround me," she said at the time. "This fall, with deep humility and respect, I will take back my narrative."

She described the book as a "harrowing ride of reclaiming my self-worth while unraveling unspoken truths."
