Slutty Vegan Teams Up With Steve Madden For Limited Edition Sneaker And Bag

Atlanta’s vegan food haven Slutty Vegan is making history as the first vegan restaurant to team up with fashion brand Steve Madden for a limited-edition collab.

Founded by CEO Pinky Cole, the nationally-acclaimed burger joint offering 100 percent vegan comfort food is teaming up with the fashion-forward footwear, accessories, and apparel brand for a “slutty” inspired sneaker and matching crossbody bag. Each style features the brand’s signature colors of white, red, and yellow, as well as their classic slogan print. Revamping the already signature Steve Madden POSESSION sneaker and BSETITUP cross-body bag, the new collaboration incorporates PETA-friendly vegan materials.

With excitement for the new joint-business venture, Cole stated, “I am thrilled that Slutty Vegan is able to partner with such an amazing company like Steve Madden. When the opportunity presented itself, it was a no-brainer. This collaboration is bigger than just a shoe — it is about showing people that you don’t have to live inside a box. You can be disruptive and break every glass ceiling, even if it means being a burger joint that has a vegan shoe.”

Steve Madden added, “When you encounter the kind of bold sensibility and exploding popularity of Slutty Vegan, collaborating with them was obvious. Pinky and I share that dare-to-disrupt spirit!”

To-date, a few restaurant-fashion partnerships have taken place such as the collaborations between Red Lobster and Nike, Adidas and Waffle House, and the Wingstop sneaker collaboration with The Shoe Surgeon.

As if the restaurant and fashion brand isn’t bringing enough good into the world, both Steve Madden and Slutty Vegan will be donating one dollar to PETA for each sneaker and/or bag purchased through their respective websites, through ShoppingGives, a leading social impact commerce platform. The Slutty-inspired POSESSION sneakers retail for $99.99 and the BSETTITUP cross-body bag is set at $89.00.

As both products have already sold out on the official Steve Madden website, consumers can still purchase the limited-edition pieces on Slutty Vegan’s website. Locals of the restaurant can purchase in person at Lenox Mall in Buckhead, Atlanta.
