Sling TV’s Latest Promotion Discounts Live Streaming Plans to Just $20 a Month

Live TV streaming service Sling TV is introducing significant discounts as part of a new promotion: right now, both of the service’s base plans, Sling Blue and Sling Orange, are available for just $20 a month, a 50% discount off the regular $40 monthly subscription price.

Consumers can also combine the two packages and get Sling Orange + Blue for just $27.50, down from $55 a month. This is the best Sling TV deal we’re seeing online but you’ll want to hurry: this Sling sale is a limited-time offer and it’s expected to end soon. The fine print: the 50% off Sling discount applies to your first month of service only, though you can cancel at anytime.
Sling Orange currently offers access to 30+ cable channels, including TNT, TBS, CNN and ESPN. Sling Blue comes without ESPN, but includes access to Fox and NBC in select markets, as well as FX, USA and a number of other networks. The combined Blue and Orange package comes with access to over 50 networks.
This is a great way to watch live TV online without cable, and Sling’s channel lineup includes everything from sports networks to AMC, E!, FX, MTV, Showtime, TLC and more. There are no long-term contracts and customers can change their channel lineup anytime. DVR is also included to let you watch replays of your favorite programs, along with thousands of on-demand shows and movies.
Sling’s plans let you stream live TV from your phone, computer, tablet and TV through the Sling app. Sling Orange + Blue subscribers can also stream on up to four devices at the same time (Sling Blue customers can stream on up to three devices, while Sling Orange members can only watch on one device at a time).

The promotional price cut is clearly meant to boost Sling subscriber numbers, and comes at a time when competing services are forced to increase pricing. Just last week, Hulu raised the price of its own live TV bundle from $69.99 to $76.99 per month.
