The Skittle Bots, which began in 2011, has one rule: play only songs released from 1990-99.

“The Skittle Bots has carefully curated a collection of the best music from the 1990s, and the band’s fanbase continues to grow with every flashback-filled performance,” MCCC said.

The band was Toledo City Paper's "Best Cover Band" in 2019 and was runner-up for the award in 2020. The Skittle Bots also won Hollywood Casino Toledo's Battle of the Bands in 2017 and won Bar 145 Toledo's Battle of the Bands in 2015.
