Skilled skateboarders, bikers and Civil War reenactors wanted for ‘Righteous Gemstones’ season 4

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Are you a skilled skateboarder, BMX rider, or Civil War reenactor? You could appear in the new season of HBO’s hit show “The Righteous Gemstones.”

The show has primarily been filmed in the Charleston area since season one. As filming ramps up for the next chapter of the show, casting agents with Tona B. Dahlquist Casting have begun searching for people to appear in the background of the popular comedy.

Several skilled and intermediate-level skateboarders and BMX riders are wanted for filming later this month. The casting company said tentative filming dates are slated for May 23 and 24.

Those who apply should have their own equipment and gear. Submissions should be sent to TRG4@gmail.com with SKATEBOARD/BMX REQUEST as the subject line.

Include two current photos – a closeup and full length, along with your name, phone number, age, city and state where you reside. Add your skateboarding or BMX experience and include your height, weight, clothing sizes, shoe size, and a description of visible tattoos and piercings.

Casting agents are also seeking makes that can portray soldiers and actual Civil War reenactors.

“Males should not have sharp short modern haircuts. If interested in being considered, do not cut your hair until filming as shaggy hair is preferred,” Tona B. Dahlquist Casting said.

Males with a range of facial hair from clean cut to scruff, mustache-only, short beards and long beards are requested.

“Due to a uniform being assigned to a person, we are looking for those with flexible schedules that can give us multiple filming dates. Information regarding dates to come soon,” the agency said.
