Sept. 14-17

Elvis fans gather one last time in Mount Dora at the Mount Dora Community Center to celebrate and pay homage to the king. Impersonators include Dwight Icenhower, Cote Deonath and Bill Cherry, among others. Prices and times vary for events throughout the weekend. 520 N. Stars of The Jim Colbert Show from Real Radio 104.1 FM along with other local notables are lending their time to wash dogs. The charitable bath will include music, craft beer provided by local breweries, a silent auction, and a "not-so-silent" auction. Proceeds go to the Humane Society of Lake County.
