How the ‘Sister Wives’ Stars Celebrated Thanksgiving 2022: Quality Family Time, Festive Food and More

Making the holiday their own. The stars of Sister Wives including Christine Brown and Janelle Brown celebrated Thanksgiving 2022 individually — and documented the festivities on social media. Days before the holiday, Christine, 50, announced that her daughter Mykelti Brown welcomed twin boys with husband Antonio “Tony” Padron. "So obsessed with these new grandsons!! What a blessing. And, hey, we should talk about how INCREDIBLE Mykelti’s recovery is going!" the reality star wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, November 22, alongside photos of her with the little ones. "The nurses were BLOWN AWAY by how well she did! She’s just amazing! #twins #gransons #oma #blessed." Mykelti, 26, who gave birth to sons Archer Banks and Ace McCord, also opened up about the new additions to her family. "I’m so happy my boys are finally here and we’re all doing well," she said in a statement to TLC on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Janelle, 53, seemingly chose to spend Thanksgiving without Kody Brown for the third year in a row. Viewers previously saw the TLC personality make the decision to visit her family in 2020 after Kody, 53, enforced strict coronavirus protocol. At the time, Janelle traveled to North Caroline to be with her children and grandchildren. Meri Brown, for her part, chose not to document her Thanksgiving on social media. Instead, the TV personality, 51, discussed getting to attend a retreat ahead of the holiday season. "Just had the most incredible weekend with a group of some amazing humans! Real Life Retreats mindfulness and motion weekend was a huge success!" she captioned an Instagram post on Monday, November 21. "Find your passion, follow your dreams, take a step daily, even if small, toward a goal or a dream and make that thing a reality. Take a few minutes each day to go inward and focus on what’s important to you, and how you can be a better human than you were yesterday." Meri concluded by reflecting on making choices for herself, adding, "Don’t let yourself get distracted by the voices of others, voices that have no part in your story. Live your life with passion and joy! Remember, you’re worthy of having all you want in your life. You deserve it, and you’re worth it!" The Sister Wives' festive celebrations for Thanksgiving come as season 17 continues to air on TLC. During the season, fans have seen the aftermath of Christine's decision to end her relationship with Kody. The former couple spiritually married in 1994. The Wyoming native was previously legally married to Meri from 1990 to 2014. He later tied the knot with Robyn Brown and remains in a spiritual marriage with sister wife Janelle. Christine, for her part, announced her decision to part ways from Kody in November 2021. Scroll down to see how the Sister Wives stars rang in Thanksgiving:
