"Feeling extra grateful for this one today. for taking care of me when i’m sick & loving me when i’m a towel & always having the biggest smile on your face," she wrote.

"I’ve been struggling a little bit with spending another christmas away from my given family, but i’m so grateful that audrey has given me another amazing family that i am so lucky and excited to spend quality time with. grateful i got a great partner with great parents / family.

Janelle Brown, one of her father Kodi's wives, commented: "Going to miss you guys so much."

Another sister wife, Meri Brown, said, "We I'll miss having you guys here but I'm sure you'll be making it a great Christmas together! Love you both like crazy."

Fans had very complimentary comments for Mariah. "Thank you for being such a great role model for LGBTQ youth," one wrote.

"Y’all are one of the cutest couples. I hope you’re feeling better and y’all have a great Christmas!" another said.

Mariah and Audrey were engaged in February after dating for about three years. Brown talked to PEOPLE about popping the big question.

“We were in the middle of where everyone was marching and I was trying to get the ring out of my pocket, where it was stuck,” she said. “I think Audrey was fixing her hair, but I just got down on one knee and said some sweet things that neither of us can really remember because we were so caught up in the moment.”

Brown grew up in a very strict Mormon family, and she revealed to them in season 11 that she is gay.

Her father later tweeted support for Mariah. "God has prepared my heart and mind for 15 years. Now [Mariah] can feel safe being openly gay with our family. I grew up in a world with terrible prejudice to the gay community. Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol taught me a modern lesson," he wrote.
