Meri Brown has some choice words for ex Kody Brown now that she's had several months to reflect on the dissolution of their marriage.

In a teaser for next Sunday's second installment of TLC's Sister Wives: One on One Special, the reality star expressed a mix of the frustration and renewed confidence while discussing Kody, 54. After Kody explains to Sukanya "Suki" Krishnan that Meri thought she and Kody were "mad about each other" — a dynamic he adds they eventually "played" out — the host has a question for Meri when the two of them are alone.

"Isn’t it not about him hearing you? Isn’t it about you being heard?" she asks.

"Oh, my voice will be heard. I will no longer be silent," responds Meri, 52.

During this week's episode, Meri also discussed some of the low points of their marriage.

"He would ask me to do things and ask me to be a certain way or ask me to fix a certain situation, but it’s not good enough," she explained.

The TLC star also suggested she clung onto hope for some time that they might reconcile, when at one point, Kody told her that she wanted something they "can't have together."

"He should have told me, because I’m still sitting here holding onto the idea that maybe you might get your head out of your butt," she said.

Meri and Kody's marriage ended after 32 years when Kody walked away from the relationship.

At the time, Meri explained how she knew her marriage was over: "You know, our first anniversary that we had here in Flagstaff, it was cheers to a new beginning as opposed to this last anniversary he's like, 'I don't even know why you called me Meri.' He's like, 'We're not married. We're not acting as married.'"

She continued, "I said to him, 'Then if that's where we are, don't you think that we should address that publicly?' And he said, 'No I don't want to address it. I don't want that to be out there publicly because I don't want that judgment.'"

The two still decided to address their split publicly in a statement via Meri's Instagram in January. In it, the bed and breakfast owner noted at the time she had "no animosity toward Kody."

Meri's marriage isn't the only Sister Wives split that's taken place in recent years — Christine Brown, 51, was the first to leave her polygamous union with Kody in November 2021. (She met David Woolley, 59, in 2022 and wed him last month.) And Janelle Brown revealed during last year's One on One episodes that she and Kody had ended their marriage.
