“Sister Wives”' Meri Brown Has 'Hope' She'll Find Love Again with Someone Who 'Accepts' and 'Cherishes' Her

Meri BrownMeri Brown isn't giving up on love.
During Sunday's final installment of Sister Wives: One on One, the 52-year-old opened up about the possibility of finding love again after Christine Brown — who, like Meri, ended her marriage to Kody Brown — was able to find her "soulmate" in second husband David Woolley.
"I have hope that I will find somebody to share my life with, yeah," the reality star told host Sukanya Krishnan.
Later in the episode, when asked about whether she hoped to get married again, Meri said, "Yeah, I do! I hope to."
"I hope to find somebody who loves and accepts the person that I am," she continued. "And cherishes me and knows my heart and likes it."
Meri noted that she hopes her future partner is "tall" but that she would "be good" with someone who is 6 feet tall. She also revealed that her celebrity crush "always has been" Matthew McConaughey.
Meri got married to Kody, 54, in 1990 and welcomed their child, Leon Brown, in 1995. The longtime pair eventually expanded their family by entering into a plural marriage with Janelle Brown in 1993, Christine in 1994 and Robyn Brown in 2010.
By 2014, Meri decided to legally divorce Kody so that he could adopt Robyn's children from her previous marriage. The pair eventually experienced several bumps in their marriage, including a catfish scandal involving Meri falling for a woman posing as a male admirer.
Meri and Kody confirmed their separation in January after more than three decades of marriage. Months after publicizing their split, Meri opened up to PEOPLE about the challenges of navigating plural marriage.
"Anytime that you expand your family, there's going to be a shift," she shared in August. "You've got just the logistical things, but then you've also got the emotional things."
The businesswoman added: "I'm human. I'm going to get jealous. He's human. He is going to not know how to deal with a woman's jealousy."
