The reality star updated her timeline with the most adorable picture of her family despite all the drama going on with her ex-husband, Kody Brown. Janelle is a proud mother of six children whom she shared with Kody after she joined his plural marriage as the second wife in 1993.

The 54-year-old melted hearts on Instagram after she posted a new family portrait and captioned it with, "Finally got a picture with my babies. Happy mama ❤️😀." Her six children with their partners and three grandchildren flanked the star as she looked radiant in a pink maxi dress.

This picture comes after she celebrated her son Gabe Brown's 22nd birthday on October 11. Janelle uploaded a few pictures and videos of her son looking adorable as she penned down a sweet tribute in his honor, which read:
"Happy Birthday @gaberown !I hope your next year is better than ever. Thank you for being the son who is always checking in on his mama, who feels deeply and has the tenderest of hearts."
Leading to the birthday shoutout Janelle had taken sides with Gabe and Garrison Brown in their ongoing feud with their father, Kody. From an episode on the 18th season of their hit show "Sister Wives," which returned to television last month, the mother of six spoke on the bad blood between her sons and Kody.
Per The Blast, Janelle confirmed during a hangout with another ex-sister wife, Christine Brown, that she would not be spending the holidays with the rest of the family at Robyn Brown's house. As for the issues between father and sons, Janelle had this to say:
"Kody feels like they owe him a big apology and some sort of conversation and stuff for being disrespectful," calling the situation a "disagreement. I always said I pick my kids before Kody. What am I going to do, go to Robyn's house and hang out with Robyn's kids and Mary and Kody?"
Janelle's stance definitely contrasts Kody's narrative, who stated in a confessional for the episode that he wants a chance to "clear the air." He continued:
"If something political or something about COVID or my own experience with it comes up, and we end up devolving into an angry conversation. That's a stupidity that I'm not going to bring into my house for holidays."

The feud between Kody and his sons contributed to the breakdown of his marriage with Janelle. The reality star announced her separation from the 54-year-old following his strict and unbearable rules for the family during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Kody believes they still have a shot at another relationship despite all that has happened. The Blast reported that Kody suggested taking Janelle out on a birthday date in an episode of their family show to show how dedicated he was to working out their differences.
Kody took Janelle to an expensive restaurant in Arizona, but this grand gesture did little to change Janelle's decision on their marriage. The 52-year-old disclosed in her confessional that things have gone far left between them, and there is no hope in sight. In her words:
"I just don't think there's much path forward for Kody and I. We just are different people now. He thinks differently. He's very, very wrapped up with the children at Robyn's house. Robyn and he think a lot alike. They want to live the same kind of life. And I'm really looking for a relationship where I'm equally considered."
Her statement tallied with her reaction during the restaurant date when she declined Kody's request for a goodnight kiss. "At one point I slipped my hand into his out of habit, and I thought this feels really weird, and I took my hand back out of his hand. It just didn't feel right anymore." the grandmother of three said about the act.
A shocked Kody addressed Janelle's rejection and wondered why they could not move forward with the reconciliation. He added, "So we had a bad fight, we've had worse. So we're separated, we've had other separations."
Janelle quickly reminded him that "there just isn't anything there anymore. There just isn't. Our relationship has been unraveling for years." The "Sister Wives" star has now accepted her current single status and has no interest in dating again, pending a definite sign and guidance from God.
