Janelle Brown is honoring late son Garrison Brown on what would have been his 26th birthday.

The "Sister Wives" star marked her son's first posthumous age with a heart-wrenching video montage on Instagram. She also shared how the grieving family celebrated Garrison's big day and her feelings about his absence.

Janelle Brown Visited Garrison's Favorite Place For His Posthumous Birthday

In the reel, shared on Wednesday, Janelle paid tribute to her late son with a compilation of clips that featured Garrison smiling in front of birthday cakes. There were also shots of him posing with the gifts he received on the occasion, including a Star Wars Lego set.

The emotional video montage ended with a throwback snap of a younger Janelle and Garrison posing with a spider-themed cake. The matriarch captioned the video with an equally sentimental message, writing:

"Happy Birthday Sweetheart. We are missing you terribly today. It's hard to believe you aren't here anymore. We talked about you a lot today and even went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner (your favorite place)."

Diving into her feelings, a heartbroken Janelle confessed that her longing for Garrison remains strong, but she would wait until it was the right time to meet him. In her words:

"I still feel you nearby sometimes. And I'm grateful we will see each other again when my journey is completed."

Fans Paid Tribute To Garrison Brown

Janelle's touching tribute to her late son sparked several positive responses from fans, who similarly penned their well wishes and prayers for Garrison. One fan penned the famous Viking prayer that began:

"Lo, There do I see my Father. Lo, There do I see my Mother, and My Brothers, and my Sisters. Lo, There do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo, They do call to me."

"They bid me take my place among them, In the halls of Valhalla, Where thine enemies have been vanquished. Where the brave may live forever," the prayer continued. "Feast well in the great halls of Valhalla Garrison," the fan concluded.

Their message received a nod of approval from Janelle, who confessed it was one of her late son's favorite prayers. "The Queen of Versailles" star Jackie Siegel also shared her condolences with the comment:

"I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my Victoria. It never gets easier, but you learn to live with it. I have a big family too. It brought my kids together. Feel free to reach out [red heart emoji]."

Fans Honored Janelle's Late Son With Donations To Animal Shelters

Last month, Janelle thanked fans for honoring her late son with donations to the animal shelters he loved.

She shared the news on Instagram, dropping two pictures of Garrison and his cats alongside the animal agencies — High Country Humane and Ark Cat Sanctuary.

It is unclear how many cats Garrison raised during his life; however, three cats were seen in the first picture, and he posed with a large gray cat in another snap. Janelle penned her gratitude to fans in the post's caption, writing:

"I have been brought to tears again. I'm being told about everyone's donations to @highcountryhumane @arkcatsancutary in Garrison's name."

She also reflected on her late son's love for cats with the comment, "Thank you for all your generosity. It means so much. The cats he adopted from both agencies were so important to him. He loved being a cat dad."

Garrison's Cats Will Remain In The Brown Family

Janelle's post about Garrison's cats sparked several concerning messages about the pets' well-being and what would happen to them after their owner's death. Curious fans directed their questions at the matriarch in the comment section, with one IG user writing:

"I hope she keeps them and they're not returned back to the humane society. Just heartbreaking all around."

The fan's comment received a positive response from Janelle, who confirmed the cats were in good hands. "They are settling in with Garrison's siblings as we speak," she replied.

The TLC star reaffirmed that Garrison's cats are "safe at home with some of the siblings" when another commenter wondered if they were with "trusted family."

Janelle Brown Slammed The 'Snarky Comments' About Garrison's Celebration Of Life Ceremony

Weeks before celebrating Garrison's posthumous birthday, Janelle called out the "snarky comments" about his celebration of life ceremony. The drama went down on Instagram, where she dropped a carousel of images from the event.

In the snaps, several members of the United States National Guard paid tribute to Garrison, a member of their unit, with the folding of an American flag. Janelle was also captured breaking down in tears when she received the flag from a serviceman.

Tearing up by her side was her family, including her ex-husband Kody and his only remaining wife, Robyn, at the end of the row. Some fans took offense to the sitting arrangement, upset that Janelle's ex-husband wasn't by her side.

These displeased individuals aired their grievances on social media, something Janelle didn't enjoy, and she slammed them with a classy retort. In her words:

"I am sharing some of the photos. Many of you have already seen a lot of these online, often with snarky comments accompanying them. But this was a beautiful moment for us."
