In PEOPLE's sneak peek at Sunday's episode of the TLC hit series, Christine Brown admits that she found it "frustrating" to date in the public eye following her split from ex Kody Brown

Christine Brown is navigating the dating scene for the very first time.

In PEOPLE's sneak peek at Sunday's episode of Sister Wives, Christine, 51, admits she “never dated anybody” before her relationship with ex Kody Brown, adding he was “was the first boy I kissed and it was after we were married.”

During her daughter’s Ysabel’s farewell dinner, she admits, “I think dating sounds like fun. It's been frustrating. But it’s not like I go out that much too. And how do I be public like that?”

Her son-in-law Antonio "Tony" Padron, who is married to Mykelti Brown Padron, responds, “What if you have a profile where you just don’t use ‘Christine’? You just go by, like, a nickname. I’m just saying you could go by ‘Tina’ on a profile.”

He adds: “And you could vibe it out and then if you ever like someone enough, you could be like, ‘Oh by the way, that’s me over there.’ My name is Christine.”

Mitch Thompson, who is married to Christine’s daughter Aspyn Brown, also weighs in, saying, “I would just be concerned about the type of people you're finding.”

Mitch then says she could give the dating site Farmers Only a try and Tony points out, “You like farmers.”

In a confessional, Christine details what she is actually looking post-divorce, saying, “I'm not interested in casual hookups. I don't want to do that.”

She told her family that she was not in a rush to find a new partner, adding, “I like the idea of being in a romantic, loving relationship a lot. But, I also really like how my life is right now.”

Tony then encouraged Christine to “go fish around” and “get back in the game” while Mykelti told her to “dip your toes in the pond.”

Christine knows that needs to take her children’s advice, saying, “I know you’re right, and I haven’t done [that]. I haven’t put myself out there.”

“It is frightening. I'm entering the dating world at 50. Everyone comes with the past,” she adds in a confessional. “Everyone comes with a history and mine’s really complicated.”

Back in August 2022, Christine opened up to PEOPLE about finding love after announcing her spiritual marriage to Kody was over.

"I would love to date. Love the idea of the end having a romantic partner,” she said. “But I talked to Truely about it the other day and she's like, 'Mom, I really like our life how it is now.' Down the road. I'm just going to let fate take care of that one."

"I want a guy who actually loves me and wants to be with me intimately," she added. "I will be a monogamist from here on out."

Last month, Christine married fiancé David Woolley, who first met on a dating website in 2022.

“It's a fairytale,” Brown told PEOPLE. “It's everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”
