Christine Brown couldn't have been less concerned about her ex-husband Kody Brown on the latest Sister Wives.

Sunday's episode saw Christine, 51, celebrating the "ex-anniversary" of her 1994 wedding to Kody, 54. While joined by Kody's newly separated ex-wife Janelle Brown and some of her local girlfriends in Flagstaff, Arizona, the group discussed the demise of her marriage as they enjoyed a special dinner.

"Celebrating the day of our divorce isn't enough," Christine said in an interview about the intimate gathering. "I also need to celebrate our old anniversary, our ex-anniversary."

Calling it the "perfect way to celebrate" the once-meaningful day, Christine added that it was "awesome" to be joined by "like-minded people" who have also been through divorce.

As the ladies were mingling and enjoying themselves, Kody suddenly called Christine. She remarked that the occurrence was "weird."

"It's, like, Kody of all people, but I'm not answering that right now," Christine told her friends. She later noted in an interview that she had "no idea" why he reached out.

Kody, meanwhile, claimed there was an actual purpose for his call. "I found out that Christine was in town, so I called her because I wanted to see if [our daughter] Truely was available," he said in a confessional.

Back with the group, Christine recalled an interesting tidbit on their anniversary last year where she asked Kody to do "nothing." However, she alleged that Kody suggested they "post a picture of ourselves," which she had no interest in doing.

"It's hard to leave a marriage. It's really hard," she acknowledged. "It is hard to know when you're done. It's hard to show your kids when you're done. It's hard to show the world that you're done. It is hard to leave a marriage, but it sure feels good on the other side."

"I'm a big fan of divorce, I'm just saying. If people are thinking about it, I say go for it. ... Do it. You're already miserable. Stop pretending to [not] be miserable and pretending to be happy," she adds. "It might be terrible advice but I'm not a therapist or a psychiatrist or anything. I just know how it feels on the other side, and it's awesome."

As the ladies' conversation continued, Christine and Janelle, 54, explained the inner workings of the Brown family's polygamous arrangement and where things stand today. The pair mentioned the shift toward Kody now only staying at Robyn Brown's house while his relationship with Meri Brown — from whom he's since split — remained nonexistent. Christine then admitted her "tipping point" was Kody not "being the greatest dad to my kids."

"I think if people wanna live [plural marriage], fine. But I just, to be honest with you, I don't see it as a great family structure and I really have a hard time with it," she admitted in a confessional. "But I think once a guy finds the love of his life, the other women are screwed."

Kody then hurled some allegations against Christine about how she came into the family. "Christine forced herself into my life. She basically just insisted that we be married," he claimed. "I don't care that she's leaving. It hurt initially, but I'm. It's just stop trash-talking me to my children."

Looking back, Christine is admittedly "jaded" and "a little bit frustrated" by her experience with polygamy.

"I'm doing my best while not having a good day, believe me, but it still was a failure," she shared. "I just wish he would have sat us all down and said, 'Look, I found the love of my life. I found Robyn. She and I are soul mates, and we want to live together for the rest of our life. So let's figure out how to make the other three of you work in this scenario.'"

The group concluded the "ex-anniversary" gathering by toasting "new beginnings" for Christine. Fortunately, her next chapter has already begun — she wed David Woolley last weekend.
