Sister, Sister star Marques Houston is a married man!
Houston wed Miya Dickey in an ultra-private ceremony on Monday, PEOPLE has confirmed.
The two exchanged vows at the Eagle Glen Golf Club in Corona, California. Houston, 39, and Dickey, 19, kept the guest list small due to the coronavirus, solidifying their love in front of Houston’s Immature bandmates, Jerome Jones and Kelton Kessee.
Recording artist MAJOR also made a surprise appearance at the reception to sing Dickey’s favorite song, "Why I Love You."
Dickey said "I do" in a Jomo Patterson wedding gown, which featured a fitted bodice with lace. Houston, meanwhile, wore a white Shaker tuxedo.
Of the big day, Houston tells PEOPLE: "I was so nervous that I was actually shaking, but everything felt perfect when I saw Miya walk down the aisle. I told her I wasn't going to cry, but I couldn't hold it in. I cried like a baby."
Dickey says she was "ecstatic" and "also nervous."
"I just wanted everything to go perfect and it did. I cried too as soon as I saw him," she says.
Houston and Dickey also added a fun and personal touch to the ceremony.
"We didn't do special vows, but we did do a special handshake that we practiced for the 'kiss the bride' part," Houston says.
"We practiced for like months on this handshake and never got it right until the actual day! We both looked at each other like 'finally,'" Dickey says.
As for whether or not the wedding exceeded their expectations, Houston shares: "It was better than expected."
"The best part for me was seeing Miya for the first time walking down the aisle. She looked like an angel. I was like, 'Wow, this is my bride.' I am definitely blessed to have her," says the groom.

Of her "special" moment, Dickey says it "was when Marques surprised me with one of my favorite singers MAJOR. He actually performed our wedding song live. I was completely caught off guard."
Now that Houston and Dickey are Mr. and Mrs., the happy couple is honeymooning in Santa Barbara, California.
"We are honeymooning in one of our favorite places, in Santa Barbara. We don't want to say actually where, but it's gorgeous and we are having the time of our lives celebrating," Houston shares. "We were originally going to Mexico, but due to COVID-19, we chose to come here for the honeymoon. It's both our favorite place ever!"
Houston and Dickey got engaged in March 2019 after five months of dating.
“She said ‘YES,’” the producer captioned a photo of the couple’s fingers intertwined — showing off Dickey’s 5-carat cushion cut diamond engagement ring.

In June, Houston defended his relationship with Dickey due to concerns about their nearly 20-year age difference.
"With all that’s going on in the world, my love life shouldn’t be a topic," he wrote. "But since it is let me just give y’all the facts so you don’t have to 'allegedly' believe or create rumors."
"This is not music or television, this is my family, my future wife and my life," he continued.

Houston explained that he met Dickey in 2018 at a "Jehovah's Witness convention" and they were introduced through the actor's manager, Chris Stokes, and his daughter.

"Miya and I didn’t start dating until she was an adult," he wrote. "We fell in love and got engaged in March of 2019. My dad Michael loves her, and the people I am closest to all love her as well. Most importantly we have Jehovahs blessing."
"There is so much more to be concerned about in the world, than creating rumors about me," he concluded. "No twists, no turns, no scandals, just true love. There is nothing that can come to light, because there’s no darkness in my life. You wanted the truth. I don’t have anything to hide."
