Nationally and internationally known, Sippin’ Santa, the fun-loving, beachy counterpart to the 2014-born, festive pop-up bar, Miracle, is making its way to Daytona Beach this holiday season.

The playful pop-up is located in Daytona Beach’s Polynesian Fire Luau, a Samoan family-born Polynesian dinner show company, known for its captivating displays, live music, ethnic dance routines, and Samoan fire knife performances.

This year, the popular luau venue is making the season bright for guests 21 years and older with Sippin’ Santa’s seasonal cocktail offerings, available now through Dec. 31.

Those looking to have a sip and “step into the spirit of aloha” can visit the local North Beach Street dinner show venue or purchase tickets to the two-hour Fire Luau show and dinner buffet online before the holiday season departs.

The vacation-vibe, holiday pop-up was created in 2015 in New York City, following the creation of Miracle pop-up, known for its thoughtfully crafted holiday cocktails, spirited décor and merry atmosphere.

Miracle, which started as a single-location bar, went global in 2016 with pop-ups spreading the sips of the season in Paris, Greece and Montreal, according to Eater Nashville.

This year, the festive pop-ups are excited to partner with nearly 200 participating locations.

“It’s incredibly exciting to be kicking off the 2023 season, almost a decade (from) when we first started,” Miracle founder Greg Boehm said in a press release. “Witnessing the growth and transformation of Miracle and Sippin’ Santa, along with the addition of numerous cities and partners to the family, makes each season even more remarkable than the last."

The Sippin’ Santa spinoff was a natural next step in the pop-up's evolution, bringing its tropical, carefree Christmas offerings to not only Daytona Beach but over 50 other locations across the country and beyond.

According to Sippin’ Santa’s website, in 2018 the festive pop-up partnered with Imbibe magazine’s “25 most influential Cocktail Personalities of the Past Century” and owner of Beachbum Berry’s Latitude 29 restaurant in New Orleans, Jeff Berry. The tiki cocktail mastermind has both helped Sippin’ Santa expand its offerings across the nation and carefully curated the season’s most dazzling sips yet.

What’s on Santa's list?

Visitors to Daytona’s Polynesian Fire Luau can start their night out right by stopping by Sippin’ Santa, where a variety of quirky, over-the-top, jolly drinks will be served, ranging from new favorites like the Surf Nut, Sharkey's First Christmas, and Ginger Snapper, to several previously loved, returning cocktails, including Jingle Bird, Holiday on Ice, and the oh-so-popular Sippin' Santa.

The pop-up’s famously festive mugs will also be available for purchase at the Daytona location.

Once the season comes to a close, Miracle will be donating 10% of all proceeds generated from the purchase of Santa Pants, Christmas Carol Barrel and Santa Heads signature glassware to its 2023 charity partner, the Seva Foundation, an international nonprofit eye health organization.

Polynesian Fire Luau is located at 180 N. Beach St. in Daytona Beach. Doors to the bar open at 5:30 p.m., while doors to the showroom open by 6 p.m. For more information on purchasing tickets to a show or visiting Sippin’ Santa at Polynesian Fire Luau, call 843-424-1978 or visit polynesianfire.com or sippinsantapopup.com.
